Activities Title

A jewel at the mouth of the Dean Channel, Nascall Bay is unique in what it can offer. Surrounded by saltwater, freshwater and hot spring water, as our guest, you are welcome to partake in the opportunities presented by all three.

Nascall Bay is a sheltered inlet off Dean Channel. Bordered on all sides by the forbidding crests of the surrounding mountains, the scenery around the Lodge is nothing short of dramatic.   Wildlife enthusiasts will be thrilled to observe eagles soaring overhead, seals bobbing through the waves, otters floating along the shoreline, and loons cruising the currents. You may even spot one of the pods of whales that pass by the mouth of the bay. In fact, the bounty of the bay is so plentiful, you can toss a crab trap off the restaurant dock and pull up a load of fresh Dungeness to boil for dinner.

Nascall is the perfect antidote the urban sprawl of the city, so take the time to relax and unwind. Enjoy the peace and serenity offered by the spectacular nature all around you. Our thermal hot spring water comes out of the earth at a perfect 106 degrees. Despite containing just as many minerals as other hot springs, Nascall’s water is unscented. A long soak in our hot tub is the ideal end to a full day spent enjoying the other activities the Lodge has to offer.

Please note, other activities available upon prior arrangement include kayaking, marine tours, scenic flights, helitours, fishing or heliskiing. Please call for more details regarding all tour activities.
